So the other day I was talking to my friend who was stressing out over school and other teenage stuff. And I am the worst at stressing out, especially over school related stuff. This is what advice I gave her about it (some stuff as been changed, of course) but I thought that this was a good reminder to myself because I often let life, stupid boys, school, and drama get the best of me.

"Okay. So i know school can be crazy stressful, like...I have meltdowns all the time. First, go to your room, lock the door and turn up some music with beat that will keep you singing, Let everything out and cry out all your feelings. Punch a pillow, jump on your bed, take a warm (or cold) shower, take a bubble bath, do your hair and makeup AMAZINGLY and then take a million pictures of urself, just because. Do something to get your mind of everything. Write everything out; every feeling, frustration, anxiety, anything. Write it. Scribble it! When you feel better, take a deep breath, say a prayer for comfort, strength, and knowledge. Then open your scriptures randomly and just start reading. Flip over a few chapters and read something there. I know that there are answers to anything in there and with the help of Heavenly Father, he can help us find them and take them in differently than we might if we were just skimming throught before bed. Well, that doesnt stop everything for forever, but it helps.

You will do great....dont freak yourself out. You have an amazing talent. Ask heavenly father for strength, you'll get it. Keep practicing, keep believing in yourself, dont underestimate yourself.Dont be afraid to ask for help.And...I still havent figured out the whole boy thing yet. I do the exact same things and act and feel the exact same way. I'm not sure why we plan out everything in our heads, but then totaly freeze when it comes down to it. Boys do that to us. And it sucks. I would say that the best thing to do is talking to them. But we both know how hard that can be. My best recomendation is my first paragraph ;) "

If you want me to take this down (you know who you are) message me and I'll have no objections.

Ahhh, the joy of having friends.

Yesterday I went over to my friends house and we had so much crazy teenage fun. We walked to the Sonic by her house and got some yummy drinks. :)

Then we were freezing from our iced heaven-in-a-cup and so we decided to walk through Fry's. We took some crazy pictures and had some amazing fun messing around in that store. Then we walked back home and ate yummy dinner and made some delicious cookies. I think the only way to fully explain is by posting the pics we took.

Woah! Check it out!

I found a cool place to edit photos and my friend and I have been playing with it and sharing them on Facebook.

Here are some so far:

Woooo-hooo, its 09!

The last few days leading up to the New Year were amazing! I had so much fun with all my friends and went to a different party with about the same people for three days in a row! It was amazing!

On the 29th, 'twas my birthday and I had just returned home from the snow the day before. My friends and I had planned on having a movie night at my house that day, not cuz it was by birthday, but just because we were all staying at home over break. So, I had a movie night. I was really worried about it because not many people thought they could come, and I didnt want it to turn out really lame. But all that worrying was for nothing, it turned out uh-mazing! I had all by bestest friends there and we didnt even end up watching a movie at all. First, we played Spaz Uno (the greatest game ever invented), then we played Guitar Hero on my Wii, and then we started getting crazy with rice bags. So I suggested we go to the park. But, we decided that that park was boring, so we went to my favorite park ever and hung out there. When my Grandma called to tell us we needed to come home, I thought I was in a lot of trouble, so we went home pretty fast and we hung around for a while. Cameron and I had a root beer chugging contest and I totally won! Who would have thought!?! But then we started playing signs, and when we got bored of that, we played Apples to Apples until like 11 pm and then everyone went home. Ah, fun stuff!
Me and Hilary in Camerons' trunk at my movie night! :) I <3>

The next day I went to my friend Natalie's 17th birthday party with my friend Cameron. It was pretty fun. I got to hang out with my friend Bryson who had moved to Gilbert at the beginning of the school year. We didnt actually do anything there either, just hung around outside and talked. Well, everyone else played hide and seek and zombie (a game from theatre) but Bryson and I were too cool for child play and sat out and caught up on life. Actually, I dont like playing zombie because I was the reason it got banned from theatre. I fell and totally scraped my knees; I still have scars to this day.

So that leads us up to New Years Eve. Well, every year there is a New Years Eve dance at church, and it's the best one excluding Youth Conference dances of course! So, all my bestest buds (except Cassie) met over at my friend Cameron's house to par-tay a little before the real party. It was fun. We didnt do much there but hang out and talk and play Signs a little bit more, but it was fun. Then right before the dance we piled into two cars and drove to the dance. The dance was fun. There were a lot of people there and a lot of those people were people I knew, so that was cool. Maybe I was a little partied-out or something cuz I felt a little bleh at times and I've been to way better dances. But hey, I had fun and I started the New Year right....with my best friends of course!

This Christmas my family and I went to Pinetop to play in the snow for a few days. It was so much fun and we took a lot of amazing pictures! We left on Christmas morning and came home the following Sunday. It was mucho divertido!

Finals

I think everybody knows that the Holiday season is a busy one. Especially in high school. Right before Winter Break, we have finals. Yay us!

I hate finals.

I hate it that teachers cram everything in your head those last few weeks, hoping that you'll do good on them and get good grades so they'll get paid more. It might be good for them, but its too stressful for us. Its like, 'here memorize this, and this, oh, don't forget this!' - times four! (or five in my case) Every class expects you to put that on first and that is really quite impossible.

I thought this correctly summarized my feelings about finals and school in general:
